Modtech developed the core aspects of mechanical keyboards for Massdrop (now Drop) including 61-key, 67-key, 87-key, and 101-key versions. All include dual USB-C ports and a USB hub, programmable per-key RGB LED lighting and effects, and open source field updatable code using an ARM Cortex 4F MCU platform. Modtech provided all electronic, PCBA, and firmware engineering as well as key assistance with the mechanical / 3D and configurator engineering. Modtech also sourced the prototype units needed for integration, test, and evaluation activities.
